The presentation of the prestigious Lokmanilal and Dayakanti Devi Awards 2015 for Excellence in Education took place on December 12, 2015 at Vivekanand Hall, Ganga Gurukulam. The chief Guest for the occasion was Hon’ble Chief Justice Dr. D.Y. Chandrachud; Chief Justice, High Court of Allahabad. The Guest of Honour was Hon’ble Justice Shri Pankaj Mittal, High Court of Allahabad.The presentation of these awards is an annual feature. Adding a new glittering milestone to the glorious journey of the awards, this year too the prestigious Lokmanilal and Dayakanti Devi Awards for Excellence in Education were bestowed upon the teachers selected by the jury. For the adjudication of the winners of the coveted Lokmanilal Awards-2015 nominations were invited from teachers of Government and Non-Government schools of CBSE, ISC and State Boards from all over India. The nominations have been perused by a grand jury consisting of eminent educationist and intellectuals – Hon’ble Justice Shri Rajesh Kumar, High Court, Allahabad; Dr. Sudha Prakash , Retd. Additional Director Education UP and Prof. Alka Agarwal, Allahabad University. To ensure that the adjudication is fair teachers belonging to the Patanjali group of schools are not eligible for the Lokmanilal Awards.
